Salar features an exciting menu of World-fusion cuisine with strong French, Peruvian, and Mediterranean influences. In addition we offer an extensive selection of hand-crafted cocktails featuring fresh squeezed juices, fresh herbs and fruits, and only the finest spirits.

Salar is a reasonably priced, upscale, yet casual style restaurant. We have created a unique dining experience with two outdoor patios, two full bars, a main dining room with full-wall windows looking out onto the Historic Oregon District, an intimate lounge space, and a private dining room. Salar is proud to be a "Green Certified Restaurant."

CHEF MARGOT BLONDET

Our Executive Chef, Margot Blondet came to the United States from her native Peru in 2005, and her menu reflects her love for her home country. Blondet serves up a love-enhancing menu bursting with the rich flavors and passion of Peru, from a heady cocktail to a super-healthy vegetarian entree, and, of course, dessert.

"Peruvian cuisine reflects not only the traditional dishes native to the area but also, through centuries of immigration, influences from Spain, China, Italy, West Africa, and Japan. By integrating classical French techniques, our menu will consist of a fusion of influences that result in dishes that are both comfortable and unique. The outcome becomes an exciting twist, rather than a radical departure from the diners' favorite foods."
